Abby Kellerman, Assistant Park Manager at Historic Oak View County Park in Raleigh, talks about coming out to the park for an adventure during this COVID-19 period. Although there are restrictions and structures are closed at this time, folks can still meander the grounds of this historical site. Self-guided mobile tours explore the history of this location. While you walk the grounds you will see structures such as the farmhouse, cotton gin, kitchen, barn, cabin, water tower, and more. There’s a pecan orchard and glorious garden.  Admission is free and there’s accompanying fun activities you can get from their website.  Go at your own risk and be sure to follow all CDC guidelines, including wearing masks, in order to stay safe, if you attend!
